Powered by and Symbian OS (i8910 HD), Samsung today announced the release plan is in Singapore for the Smartphone. Announced only weeks ago, Samsung Omnia2, which will be available this weekend (July 18) recommended retail price S $ 898 (USD 615) without contract. Windows phone using Windows Mobile 6.1 professional edition and can be upgraded to Windows Mobile 6.5 later. The Samsung i8910 HD, does not bring omnia branding and will be available starting August 1 at the recommended retail price of S $ 1,098 (750 USD) without a contract.
Unveiled first at Mobile World Congress as the first Symbian full touch handset to be released by Samsung Electronics, the Samsung i8910 offers a 3.7-inch AMOLED screen, 8 megapixel camera and supports HSUPA 5.76Mbps and 7.2Mbps HSDPA. Active Matrix Organic Light Emitting diode (AMOLED) screen touch offer unrivalled sharpness of tone, bright colors and efficiency in power consumption.
