PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk (Telkom) zero in at least 200 thousand new customers a product from Flexi Muslim community in East Java, through the launch of new products Flexi Muslim.
Executive General Manager TelkomFlexi Division, Dodiet Hendrojono, told reporters in Surabaya, on Tuesday, expressing the optimistic this new product will get a positive response from consumers due to be launched in the coming month of Ramadan.
For this new product development, working with Telkom PT Haier Telecom Indonesia, as the CDMA cellular phone device.
Flexi Muslim that has the features of the needs of Muslims, the Qur'an such as the 30 section of the Koran, prayer time reminders, directions direction, and tausyiah service, marketed with a price Rp333 thousand per unit.
He adds, to this total Flexi customers nationwide and around the targeted 13.7 million until the end of 2009 the number could reach 16 million-17 million customers.
General Manager of Commerce Division TelkomFlexi Area East Java, Bali and Nusra, Yoyok Setyono, is optimistic that as many as 200 thousand units of the product Flexi Muslim prepared, can be merged in the East Java market.
Yoyok Setyono add, Telkom Jatim continue to improve the quality of networks and services, with capacity up SMSC (short message switching center) that can serve approximately 192 million SMS in a day.
In addition, the capacity of MSC (mobile switching center) also improved and able to serve 10.5 million customers.
