Tarif Internasional Roaming Makin Simpel dan Transparan

Pelanggan Telkomsel kini semakin nyaman menggunakan kartunya saat berpergian keluar negeri dengan hadirnya skema tarif jelajah roaming (international roaming) baru yang lebih mudah, sederhana, dan transparan.

Skema tarif yang berlaku mulai 1 Maret 2009 ini semakin memudahkan pelanggan kartuHALO untuk menentukan besarnya tarif pemakaian jelajah roaming sesuai anggaran komunikasinya. Telkomsel menyederhanakan tarif ini dengan membaginya menjadi 7 zona negara tanpa time band, memakai standar mata uang global yakni US Dollar, dan untuk penagihan ke pelanggan tetap dalam mata uang rupiah yang dikonversikan sesuai rate IMF ter-update.

Manager Corporate Communications Telkomsel Suryo Hadiyanto mengatakan, “Skema tarif baru ini memberlakukan gratis terima SMS, kirim SMS hanya USD 0.45 di semua negara, time unit untuk voice dan video call per 1 menit, time unit untuk akses data per 10 kb, serta sudah termasuk komponen surcharge. Dengan skema baru yang lebih transparan ini pelanggan bahkan dapat menghitung sendiri tagihan pemakaian roamingnya sehingga mampu meminimalisir biaya pemakaian yang tidak diketahui.”

Untuk kesederhanaan perhitungan tarif, Telkomsel menghilangkan skema time band, yakni tarif berdasarkan waktu/pukul pemakaian pelanggan. Telkomsel membagi negara tujuan jelajah menjadi 7 zona, yakni: Zona 1 (contoh: Brunei, Macau, Singapura, dan lain-lain), Zona 2 (Irak, Korea, Filiphina, dan dan-lain), Zona 3 (Hongkong, Jepang, India, dan lain-lain), Zona 4 (Australia, Kanada, Amerika Serikat, dan lain-lain) Zona 5 (Jerman, Belanda, Inggris, dan lain-lain), Zona 6 (Perancis, Denmark, Swiss, dan lain-lain), dan Zona 7 (Bermuda, Arab Saudi, dan negara lain di luar Zona 1-6).

Tarif baru: Seorang pelanggan Telkomsel sedang ber-SMS di Arab Saudi. Pelanggan Telkomsel kini semakin nyaman menggunakan kartunya di luar negeri dengan hadirnya skema tarif international roaming baru yang makin simpel dan transparan, seperti gratis terima SMS, kirim SMS hanya USD 0.45 di semua negara serta sudah termasuk komponen biaya surcharge.

Tarif roaming panggilan dan terima berlaku tetap (fixed) sesuai dengan zona negara dan hanya terdiri dari tiga jenis, yakni IDD ke Indonesia (panggilan ke nomor tujuan Indonesia +62), Lokal (panggilan ke nomor tujuan negara setempat), dan IDD ke Negara Lainnya (panggilan ke nomor selain nomor Indonesia dan negara setempat).

Sebagai contoh: Pelanggan A berada di Singapore melakukan panggilan ke Indonesia 57 detik. Tarif yang berlaku adalah USD 1.30/ menit (IDD ke Indonesia, Zona 1), maka dengan acuan rate konversi IMF (misal 1 USD = Rp 10,753) perhitungan tarifnya menjadi 1 x (USD1.30 x Rp 10.753) = Rp 13.978,90. Contoh lainnya: Pelanggan B berada di Arab Saudi melakukan panggilan lokal selama 90 detik. Tarif yang berlaku adalah USD 1/menit (Lokal, Zona 7), maka perhitungan tarifnya menjadi 2 x (USD 1 x Rp 10.753) = Rp 21.506.

Demikian juga halnya pemakaian akses data berlaku tetap (fixed) sesuai dengan zona negara. Contoh: Pelanggan C berada di Inggris menggunakan akses data (internet) sebesar 55 Kb. Tarif akses data USD 0.02/ kb (Zona 5) maka perhitungan tarifnya menjadi 60 Kb x (0.02 x Rp 10.753) = Rp 12.903,60.

“Skema tarif baru ini tentunya semakin melengkapi kenyaman pelanggan kartuHALO saat menggunakan kartunya di luar negeri, selain tentunya luasnya jaringan yang memungkinkan pelanggan tetap terhubung di negara manapun, di mana saat ini Telkomsel telah bekerjasama dengan 330 operator selular diberbagai belahan dunia,” ungkap Suryo.
