Stuttgart, Germany - Nokia today announced the winner of Forum Nokia in 2009, the global mobile developer competition designed to generate applications and solutions to enhance the use of Nokia mobile devices in the world.
Category winners are recognized in the Calling All Innovators Awards Reception held in Stuttgart on the night of the Nokia World. The submission of the top three in each category will receive cash awards and prizes including premium placement displays the winning applications in Nokia's Ovi and win a chance to demo the application at Nokia World.
More than 1700 submission received from developers and publishers in 85 countries for Nokia to create applications and mobile services that can help build a better mobile user experience. More than 421,000 visits to the contest site from all over the world involved with Forum Nokia, the world's largest mobile developer community.

Winners will be announced on September 3 for this category at Nokia World. Winners in this category apply new ideas to take advantage of the power-Ovi service locations using Nokia Maps on the device. 14 developers have been given exclusive access to Ovi Beta SDK to convert their ideas into a complete application for use on Nokia devices.

The jury also presented the Special Award for Innovation Award and cash prize of USD 10,000 to MoBots application, which was sent by DEIMOS Space of Madrid, Spain.
Judges chose MoBots, which configure automations created by individuals directly on your Nokia S60 mobile device, because the high value it received in the creativity and commercial viability. MoBots app that is designed so that anyone - even non-programmers - to develop practical applications for use on their mobile phone with just a few simple steps. Individuals can set-up a new, customized applications MoBots using attractive, on-screen visual interface and the results can be divided into mobots.org community.
