Commercial Director Joy Wahyudi XL in Bandung on Wednesday.
According to him, SMS is still the favorite choice for the community to convey holiday greetings and just a short communication among colleagues or with friends.
He predicts, starting H-1 will be an increase in SMS traffic reaches 50 percent compared to usual days. Puncanya will occur in H-1 with a total SMS predicted to reach 290 million.
SMS traffic will experience a significant increase in traffic over the conversation. Traffic own voice or conversation is predicted to rise between 20-30 percent in the upcoming 2009 season, Lebaran.
In addition the increased use of data services is also predicted to increase in the upcoming Lebaran ranged between 10-20 percent.
Joy Wahyudi confirmed, XL has been set up infrastructure to increase capacity, allowing consumers to serve as an increase in voice traffic, SMS and data while in 2009 this Lebaran season.
Meanwhile, XL does not perform kayanan capacity data. Wahyudi said it was because the existing capacity was confirmed to serve increased traffic that will occur on Idul Fitri 1430 Hijri future.
