PONSEL - Telkomsel Open BlackBerry Service
Telkomsel in collaboration with Research In Motion (Rim) and Malifax Indonesian importers as the BlackBerry service center. Telkomsel BlackBerry service center is named Mobilife.
In addition to service center, Telkomsel also introduced a method activation via the browser menu to subscribe BlackBerry packages daily, weekly, and monthly. Telkomsel also launched a service innovation BlackBerry Facebook Fan Page.
VP Channel Management Telkomsel Gideon Edie Purnomo said the number of Telkomsel BlackBerry subscribers reached 135,000 or up 400% compared to year-end 2008 with only 35 thousand.
Mobilife solution is a one stop shop, where customers can obtain an integrated solution on the BlackBerry. There is available information about the BlackBerry, handling complaints, warranty on damage, and download a variety of application services and the latest software upgrade.
Telkomsel to the end of the year will also increase the capacity of its BlackBerry service to 100 Mbps, or increased about 10-fold compared to the capacity in early 2009.
