Nokia Siemens Networks in cooperation with Juniper Networks to build IP network and optical technology to create solutions that can juxtapose the two technologies.
According to the Head of Business Line DWDM Nokia Siemens Networks, Uwe Fischer, in a press release, Thursday, Optics-IP solution that will provide integrated service solutions that are flexible, reliable and efficient to manage the growth of the volume of data, voice and multimedia applications.
"Having this technology in the second one the network means we have a technology brevity and efficiency," added Fischer.
Senior Vice President and General Manager, High-End Systems Business Unit Juniper Networks, Opher Kahane, say, a combination of IP and optical transport technology can improve network efficiency.
"We are very excited to be able to provide innovative solutions to this market," said Opher.
The combined solution will be offered to improve overall network efficiency because with TransNet, network planning software from Nokia Siemens Networks.
Plans can also enjoy the speed of service provisioning because only one DWDM interface that need to be installed and configured.
